Property in La Zenia

View all Property in La Zenia

La Zenia is situated on the south eastern coastline of Spain, about an hour south of Alicante city.

La Zenia has become over the past ten years, the most popular holiday destination for COSTA BLANCA PROPERTY buyers, due to a number of reasons. The first thing most clients ask us about is La Zenia beach. Its not an understatement to say that the beaches here are world renowned and La Zenia beach in particular is incredibly popular with British, Irish and of course Spanish tourists.
Its a blue flag beach and due to the large number of life guards on duty up to 7pm every day, its also very safe in La Zenia.

Activities centred around the Mediterranean are varied but windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, jet skis are very popular and all available there.

Property in La Zenia is also some of the best value in Spain!.

In 1999, the Comaskey family opened Spain's best known Irish bar, Paddys Point. www.paddys-point.com Paddys has changed over the years of course but even in 1999 it was know as a place with a great atmosphere made even better by the huge following who turn out for all live GAA matches, international rugby and football, champions league, premiership and vitally all Glasgow Celtic matches. It's said the second best place to watch Celtic play is in Celtic park, Glasgow, after Paddys Point, that is!
Music every night means there is always something happening at Paddys and its a must visit for anyone who comes to La Zenia.
We cant take credit for all of the amenities in La Zenia however. We are serviced by Indian, German, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, British and Irish restaurants. Consum supermarket sells many international brands and shopping there is certainly a good way to beat this recession!
Deutshe Bank, Caja Murcia and Banco Popular all have multilingual staff and Spanish Solutions provide help to ex pats on any aspect of living and working in Spain.
www.spanishsolutions.net Its all covered in La Zenia!

Golf is a big reason why the area in general and specifically La Zenia took off as a holiday destination. Villa golf club is a fine challenge for any standard of golfer. The course actually hosted professional PGA events up to ten years ago. Due to the lack of hotel facilities however and some internal politics its no longer a PGA course, giving us all more access to play!
Las Ramblas is also a par 72 course and is a real test. Often considered a little unfair due to the number of hidden ravines, and canyons, the scenery around the course more than makes up for the ball or two which you will lose!
The easiest of the 3 courses within 5 minutes of La Zenia is Campomor Golf club. Its a very fair course with plenty of room to open your shoulders. The 4 star resort also houses a gym, indoor pool, tennis courts and 3 football pitches. Wolves, Manchester city and a host of Spanish clubs have used Campomor for their pre season training.
As we mentioned all 3 of these world class golf clubs are with a 5 mile radius of La Zenia.

Due to its popularity, La Zenia property prices have not dropped at the same incredible rate as other parts of Spain. While holiday resorts in Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey are showing real depreciation of 70% La Zenia property prices are realistic. This gives investors confidence that their property in La Zenia is well priced and totally rentable year round. We have detached 3 bed room property in La Zenia selling around 200,000 euro. These have sold for as much as 300,000 euro so clearly 2009 is the time to buy here.
The cheapest apartment on our books in La Zenia is selling for 70,000 euro. Thats 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, fully furnished with a communal pool all walking distance to the commercial centres and to La Zenia beach. Is it any wonder that investors and indeed lifestyle buyers are flocking to La Zenia. We do not know of value for money like this in any sought after location in Europe.
Unlike some areas in Spain, property here is all fully licensed and legal. Our solicitors, Spanish Solutions simply will not sign deeds on behalf of our clients if they feel there is any sort of legal issue or possibility of outstanding bills. Again, its more confidence for buyers of Property in La Zenia.

We mentioned the range of services in and around La Zenia. We've help people re locate here and in many cases establish small businesses in the region. Head to Toe hairdressers in La Zenia is owed and operated by Geraldine from Belfast, Sam Widges cafe owned and run by Gary and Claire from Newcastle, Emmet from Wexford runs the M50 Irish pub, Dave and Theresa from Mullingar and South Africa operate Dave Skinner motors, Ger and Frank from Mullingar run Darby O Grills and in every case we helped these people with their dreams to relocated to Spain and settle in La Zenia. There are more opportunities here though for people looking to open small business here. Services which we sometimes take for granted at home can be in huge demand here and anyone willing to work on developing their new business in La Zenia will earn their rewards! Just ask Glaswegian Craig from Glasgow in Call -Net. Oh we helped them set up their internet cafe too!

La Zenia is very accessible from Ireland and the UK. Flights to Alicante airport and San Javier airport, Murcia run daily all year round from all major airports in Britain and Ireland. Ryanair Easyjet, BMI, Monarch and Aer Lingus all fly here and when the new Murcia airport opens in 2010, accessibility will be even greater.
While here the incredible train service can get you to any part of Spain and a train to Valencia takes just a little more than 2 hours.

Sport is massive in Spain and La Zenia is close to everything. Both the Valencia Formula 1 grand Prix and the Cataluna Grand Prix in Barcelona are esy to get to. While there, watch a La Liga game. Games are seldom sold out meaning tickets are almost always available. Real Murcia are back in the 2 nd tier of Spanish football and wins in recent seasons over Real Madrid and company did not help them stay up. The new stadium, nueva condominia is a world class stadium and deserving of a top football side. hopefully 2009-2010 will see Murcia promoted back to the top flight.
35 minutes north of La Zenia is Elche. As well as being a host city for the 1982 world cup, where Gerry Armstrong scored the winner for Northern Ireland against Spain, the city also has a big football tradition. Both Elche and Murcia make visiting football fans very welcome.

Spain has more marathons and half marathons than and other country in Europe. Plans for the La Zenia half marathon are underway and the Torrevieja half marathon is well attended by Irish and British runners every year.

Tennis, courtesy of Mr Nadal is big in Spain with courts scattered in almost every development, hotel and resort. Paddle tennis, the first cousin of regular tennis is probably one of the best sports in the world and is enjoyed, again by all nationalities, including some members of the Comaskey Properties team.
Both can be played at Campomor golf club, Orihuela Costa resort, La Zenia and many smaller courts and clubs around the area.

Squash, rugby, indoor football, swimming, and especially Basket ball are also huge favourites in Spain.

COSTA BLANCA PROPERTY owners respond to Music like no other crowd in the world. Many music festivals are reachable from La Zenia, notably the San Javier Jazz and blues festival which runs every summer, for almost all summer. Steve Winwood and John Fogarty were this years highlights, but buses also went from #La Zenia to Springsteen in Benidorm not to mention the trip to Camp Nou for the world premier of u2 in 380 degrees!
Its all in Spain, and its all close to La Zenia.
