Cabo Roig Restaurant With A View – Comaskey Properties

La Tasca, Cabo Roig

The views over Campoamor, La Manga strip off in the distance and the whole Mediterranean are worth the trip to Cabo Roig.

We spent an afternoon recently in the wonderfully located La Tasca restaurant, in Cabo Roig on Spain´s Costa Blanca. Its right past the new Mevilla office and the “El Faro” bar and you should call in to Dermot and Monica while you are in the area especially if you are looking to watch todays sport on TV.

La Tasca restaurant is a unique place for several reasons, the first being that it’s a 16th century watch tower, still in its original condition overlooking the beautiful Cabo Roig Marina and the vast body of water in front of it.

You can still see evidence of the military past with a cannon pointing out towards La Manga. It’s easy to visualise this area for many hundreds of years, being the first to witness pirates and other foe approaching the Cabo Roig coastline and the resistance the military base provided.

These days, you can grab a very welcome snack, coffee or drink and the service is really good with waiters who are unusually attentive.

Prices are good too with our three coffees costing less than the one I had in Dublin airport last week.

The steps down to the La Zenia/Cabo Roig walkway are right at the entrance to the restaurant and its very possible to park in the public car park, take a walk as far as La Zenia on the cliff side paved path and then return to a well deserved cold drink over looking the stunning Mediterranean.

We highly recommend this restaurant and its one of our favourites on the Orihuela Costa.

We have recently listed five new properties on the beach side of Cabo Roig and if you´d like to view them, please give Miguel a call on 0034 966773 453.
