Tenerife: A Secluded Paradise

Tenerife’s secluded paradise

Comaskey are proud to announce that we have just been selected as an agent for the breath taking resort Abama, located in one of Europe’s most popular destinations, the Island of Tenerife.

Here we compile a few reasons why we think that you may want to look at Tenerife as the destination for your new Spanish adventure and especially why we believe Abama Resort is the place to be.

You’ll find the aforementioned Abama Resort in the South Westerly tip of the Spanish island of Tenerife- 400 acres of luxury and tranquillity. The region is called Guia de Isora, considered by the experts as one of the finest on the island. It has been blessed with natural beauty, thanks in part to both trade winds and the gulf stream; views that you thought only existed in photo shopped magazine articles; wonderful climate; great infrastructure. The Spanish government has deemed much of the Guia de Isora to be protect territory- protected from overdevelopment for you to enjoy.

First thing you notice when you take out a map and view The Canary Islands is their proximity to the African Coast- we are talking South, South-Europe, just above the Tropic of Cancer in fact.

The islands were formed by volcanic activity and that coupled with the temperatures (average 3,000 hours of sunshine) will provide you with the perfect European retreat. It’s almost like having the Bahamas moved over to Europe! 250 km of beach, views, protected nature reserves, golf, fun and now property that you’ll love…

Tenerife is the middle Island in the Archipelago and the largest of the seven in terms of population and land mass.  The island has not one, but two UNESCOWorld Heritage Sites and a very diverse geographical feel.

The El Teide Volcano is the third largest volcano in the world and the site of the Teide observatory- a must visit for you and the family. The fact that you can get there by camel will make it a popular destination with the younger ones especially!!

While you are on one of your day’s trips, stop off in one of the local vineyards for some samples.

Day trips are available to the other Islands too- all adding to the fun you and your family will enjoy while n holidays here. Are you thinking of moving year around? Please get in touch and we can tell you more activates you need to check out such as the Carnival de Santa Cruz.

Abama Resort

Perhaps you know Tenerife as the holiday and party destination you visited when you were in your 20s? Abama Resort is not that, not even close. It is in fact a peaceful oasis in this dry volcanic landscape. Abama is a luxurious retreat from typical Tenerife tourism for those who seek the finer things in life.

All of the island’s points of interest as reviewed on Trip Advisor are within easy reach of the resort.

Basilica de Nuestra Senora de Candelaria

Los Cristianos Harbour

Masca Valley

Loro Animal Kingdom Parque

ARTlandya DollMuseum

In fact, we’d be here all day talking about the things to do in Tenerife as recommended by the reviewers on TripAdvisor.

Arriving at the resort from most European capital cities is very straightforward. Once your planes wheels touch the tarmac, a 30-minute relaxed drive from Tenerife South/Reina Sofia Airport (TFS) or a 1hour 15 drive from Tenerife North/Los Rodeos Airport (TFN) will bring you to your front door. Imagine the butterflies as you get nearer to your stay in Abama….

For those of us arriving by helicopter, we have a private heliport on the Abama’s resort.

Even the richest people in the world like to save money, right?

We just want to quickly mention the follow three benefits of the Abama Resort … We have already covered the location, accessibility, climate (did we say 3,000 hours of sunshine??), the special offers through Comaskey Properties in Spain, the luxury… Please also note;

Abama’s golf course was designed by Dave Thomas, The Welsh golfer famous for his hundreds of golf designs like The PGA National, The Belfry Hotel; Guangzhou Luhu Golf & Country Club, China;
Lorca Golf Resort & Spa, Spain

Abama houses a golf course, critically acclaimed by golfers of all standards both for its beauty and the challenges it presents. Since its opening ten years ago, the Abama course has hosted a number of pro tournaments engagements and tested the limits and skill of many a golfer.

From its thousands of palm trees, protecting the immaculate greens to the views out to the Atlantic, these are fairways not to be missed. (if you know what I mean). After a round, golfers will enjoy the elegance and amenities of our clubhouse, a glass of vino with a view, all designed in line with the 5 star facilities of the luxurious location.

Like the rest of the Abama luxury resort, our 7 tennis and 4 paddle courts (if you have not played Paddle or Padel, it’s the best game in the world for any ex-Tennis or squash people who no longer have the knees for those sports) sorry, back to the pitch: They have been constructed with the finest quality materials and the utmost attention to detail. Then patented Flexi®-Pave court surfaces and top-dollar facilities brought both ATP and ITFT players to Abama playing in front of the 600 spectators that our centre court grandstand accommodates. For those of us not ready to join the pro tour, the tennis academy offers lessons for players of every skill level.

Lastly, we have to mention the Undisturbed Beach & Pier.

Abama’s protected beach is a pristine haven of soft sand, soft sound of the water reaching land and ultimate relaxation.  You’ll find the serenity of the private beach at the foot of the resort, serving both as a departure point for those who wish to sail, swim, dive, snorkel, or engage in other water activities. You’ll also love it as a destination for you while seeking a quiet day to relax.

Abama Beach Club brings the elegant hotel service to you right on the beach. Our helpful staff are here to make your stay even more comfortable while complementing your luxury Spanish holiday with towels, refreshments, cold drinks, parasols and much more. Enjoy a light snack, a cocktail, glass of bubbles or just the stunning views from this unique corner of paradise, situated here in Tenerife.

Come and take advantage of our 5-star property viewing trip.

Please let Claire know when suits you, we’ll take care of the rest.
